Upper Eyelid Surgery
Days 1–2: Mild swelling, tightness, and possible blurry vision
Days 3–5: Swelling and bruising may peak; cold compresses and prescribed eye care are important
Days 5–7: Sutures (if used) are often removed; most patients resume light daily activities
Week 2: Swelling continues to improve; makeup may be worn if cleared
Weeks 6+: Final contours emerge as incisions soften and fade
