My favorite procedure is the combination of eyelid with brow surgery, because of how meaningfully this enhances a person’s natural, rested beauty. Scientifically speaking, the periocular area—which includes the eyes and brows—is the first area our brains register when we look at a face. It’s where we emote, communicate, and express ourselves—the eyes have it, as they say. Even subtle heaviness or descent in this area can unintentionally convey fatigue, stress, or sternness that may not reflect how someone truly feels.

NOW, when this is combined with facial fat grafting for youthful softness and laser skin resurfacing for smoother skin quality, the transformation can be even more extraordinary—yet still entirely understated and elegant. That combination of structural support, volume restoration, and skin refinement is a powerful trio. These are results that don’t announce “I had surgery”—they simply reflect someone at their very best.

A mentor once told me, “Your job is not to make someone look different—it’s to help them recognize themselves again.” That advice has shaped how I approach every patient: with artistic restraint, calculated intention behind every millimeter, and a deep respect for the nuances of classic beauty — never chasing trends that come and go. The most meaningful outcomes are the ones that preserve identity, expression, and individuality. Surgery should never eclipse a person; it should subtly restore balance and allow their natural features to take center stage.

Since my teenage years, I’ve had a deep appreciation for beauty and design—whether in architecture, natural elements, or the intricate anatomy of the human face. When I discovered oculofacial plastic surgery, it immediately felt like the natural convergence of everything I love: precision, artistry, and purpose. From that point on, there was no question—I had found my calling. It’s deeply fulfilling work, and I genuinely can’t imagine doing anything else!

Atlanta felt like a natural choice for my practice because it’s where much of my professional foundation was formed. I completed a majority of my training at Emory University, and during that time I had the opportunity to truly experience this city—its energy, diversity, creativity, and sense of forward momentum. Having lived in several cities across the country, I’m proud to now call Atlanta home for both my family and my practice.

I would love to see the conversation evolve from “anti-aging” to aging beautifully instead—helping patients look like the best version of themselves at every stage of life, rather than trying to turn back the clock. At the same time, I see regenerative medicine playing an increasingly important role with treatments that support skin quality, tissue health, and enhancing longevity down to the genetic and molecular level, rather than simply masking signs of aging.

The most refined outcomes—whether surgical or nonsurgical—are the ones where no single intervention is obvious, yet the overall face looks harmonious, rested, and authentic. So I’m glad we are already beginning to see a meaningful shift away from over-volumized faces and overly pulled appearances, and toward results that are elegant and balanced – further emphasizing the ‘undetectable era’. 

At its core, the future of aesthetics lies in honoring classic beauty—while recognizing that classic beauty can look different across cultures, ethnicities, and individual identities. What matters most is moving away from chasing fleeting trends. Trends come and go, but timeless beauty is evergreen.

Outside of the operating room, I value time with my family and friends. I also love traveling to new places, exploring beautiful scenery, and enjoying outdoor activities like skiing—though you’ll never catch me on a black diamond slope. I also enjoy digging into Atlanta’s vibrant food scene and discovering fun fitness classes around the city. Whether I’m globetrotting or being a tourist in my own town, these moments help me reset and stay inspired.

That said, when your passion project also happens to be what you do for a living, the line between “free time” and fulfillment often blurs. Continuing to refine my surgical craft is something I genuinely enjoy. Improving precision, optimizing recovery, and giving my patients the best possible experience and outcomes is deeply meaningful to me. My practice is truly a labor of love, and the joy I find in this work is a core part of who I am.
